MAUMELLE, Ark. — Tracy Long, 59, of Conway, was killed early Sunday after a vehicle struck her outside a Waffle House on Highway 365 in Maumelle, authorities said.
The crash happened around 12:25 a.m. on September 27. Police said Long was working at the restaurant when she was struck by a black Lexus and became trapped beneath the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 34-year-old driver was arrested and faces charges including negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated. The driver remains in custody at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility. Police said the crash remains under investigation.
