head on crash

A three-vehicle collision in Farmington, Arkansas, resulted in one fatality and one injury on U.S. Highway 62 on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The Arkansas Department of Public Safety confirmed that Nikki Stewart, 30, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was killed in the incident.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:43 p.m. The investigation indicates a sequence of events began when a Nissan Pathfinder, driven by a 77-year-old man from Prairie Grove, entered US Highway 62 and attempted a left turn, colliding with a westbound Ram pickup truck.

The initial impact forced the Ram into the eastbound lanes, where it struck a Toyota Camry traveling eastbound head-on. Thirty-year-old Nikki Stewart, a passenger in the Camry, sustained fatal injuries.

The Camry’s driver, 35-year-old Michael Stewart, was injured and transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville for treatment. The Department of Public Safety is continuing to investigate the cause of the multi-vehicle accident.
