DALLAS, TX — Aya Knox, 23, died early Saturday morning after a fatal pedestrian collision in Downtown Dallas. The incident occurred on November 15, 2025, around 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of Elm Street and Field Street.
Dallas police reported that Knox was struck by an SUV traveling in the 1500 block of Elm Street. She was pinned beneath the vehicle, requiring Dallas Fire-Rescue to use airbags for extraction. Knox was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Dallas Police Department is conducting the investigation into the circumstances of the fatal crash.
