A single-vehicle crash on Lakewood Boulevard in Long Beach killed four people early Saturday, including 22-year-old Amber Delgado of Huntington Park.
The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. on February 21, 2026, near East Spring Street, close to Long Beach Airport. A 2008 Honda Accord traveling southbound struck the center median curb, lost control, and collided with a support wall under an underpass. The vehicle caught fire.
Long Beach police and fire personnel responded. One occupant, identified as Delgado, was found outside the burning car, while the other three remained inside. All four were pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims—two men and one woman—have not been publicly identified.
Authorities noted that speed and possible impairment are suspected factors. The investigation continues.
