GREENVILLE, S.C. (September 26, 2025) – A 19-year-old man from Aberdeen has died following a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Greenville County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) reported that Shane Roberts Mcvey was a passenger in a Toyota 4Runner traveling north on White Horse Road on Friday. The vehicle attempted to turn west onto South Carolina 123 when it was struck by a semi-truck.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, Mcvey was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial, where he died on Saturday afternoon.
Four other occupants of the Toyota were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
